Public beta now available

Since it's the first beta, there will most definitely be bugs. Always keep a backup of the data on your Pocket PC.
I have been developing it on an HP iPAQ 5550. Their WLAN driver has at least two known bugs. (I tried to report the bugs, but they want $500 or so before they'll let me talk to tech support.) First, leaving the scanner open with "active scan" enabled may interfere with network connectivity. Also, if it stops updating, a device reset always fixes the problem.
Note the "clear cache" button on the Options page. This will force the client to re-download data from the server. (Normally, the client caches data forever, in order to reduce network traffic.)
