Source Code Now Available
April 28, 2004 (Filed under: Herecast, Releases)There is now a Herecast project at SourceForge. The source code for the Pocket PC client software is available under the GNU General Public License (GPL.) A brief overview of the organisation of the code is available in the developers section.The immediate goals of the project are:
1. make sure it works as intended for Pocket PC, and that the user interface is good;
2. port it to desktop Windows XP.
The controls over there are still foreign to me, so I'm not sure that I've got everything quite set up right, but we'll see how it goes. SourceForge also provides a bug tracker and a "request for enhancement" (RFE) feature... in case you want to submit bugs or request features. You can submit patches there too.
